We’ll be honest… this level of care is not the easiest way to raise puppies. We do it because it benefits them.
For generations, dogs were bred and raised to perform jobs , like herding livestock, guarding property, hearding, while working alongside Humans . But today, many dogs are being welcomed into a different kind of working relationship: life as a family companion, service dog, therapy dog, or emotional support companion.
The world has changed. The way we prepare puppies for it should, too. At 24 Karat Doodles, our developmental milestone Midwoofery™ program is designed to do more than raise puppies. It is designed to help shape the developing dog..... building early foundations for confidence, adaptability, resilience, human connection, and success in the world they will grow up in.
Rather than simply raising puppies until they are old enough to go home, we intentionally support their development through age-appropriate experiences, enrichment, handling, and early learning. We recognize that a puppy is not just a puppy today.
That puppy is the dog someone will live with tomorrow.
With 10+ years of experience, we believe the foundation begins long before a puppy meets their family. Our goal is to prepare each puppy for the realities of modern companion life, whether their future includes being a
beloved family dog or has the potential for a service, therapy, or emotional support role.
